What is The Calm Within CD?

So begins The Calm Within CD, composed and recorded by
our Clinical Psychologist. Based on actual therapeutic
sessions used in her private practice, The Calm Within
combines peaceful soothing music with progressive relaxation
exercises, guided imagery and positive self scripting to
provide you with an hour of therapeutic bliss
whenever you need it.
This combination of therapeutic techniques and soothing
deep relaxing music has been especially designed to
induce a state of deep relaxation, similar to what
would be achieved in therapy, effectively relieving tension
and supporting the body’s natural ability to heal.
The CD is approximately one hour in length and is created
to help provide all the benefits of an hour of
relaxation therapy with a trained counselor - in
the comfort of your own home!

How do I use The Calm Within CD
Although not essential, it is best to listen to
soothing music and nature’s soothing sounds of The Calm
Within CD with headphones to reduce outside
interferences and promote deeper and undisturbed
relaxation. The CD lasts approximately one hour
and should be listened to from start to finish for
maximum therapeutic effect.
DIRECTIONS
Soothing, deep relaxing music is best enjoyed if you
are lying or sitting comfortably in a quiet, peaceful
place. Because body temperature drops slightly during
deep relaxation, wear loose-fitting clothes that are
warm and comfortable.
CAUTION
Do not listen to this CD while driving or operating
heavy machinery.
